PuntList LLC ("PuntList," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use PuntList.com and our related services. By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, business name, and industry. We use this information to create and manage your account, verify your identity as a legitimate business professional, and communicate with you about the Platform.
Review Content: When you submit a review, we collect the client's name, city, state, ZIP code, your ratings, comments, and any supporting documentation you provide. This content is displayed publicly on the Platform.
Payment Information: If you purchase paid services, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account details on our servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, and referring URLs. This data helps us improve the Platform and detect abuse.
Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your data to advertisers.
We use the information we collect to: (a) operate, maintain, and improve the Platform; (b) process your account registration and manage your account; (c) display reviews and client profiles publicly on the Platform; (d) run AI moderation on submitted reviews for legal compliance; (e) process payments for paid services; (f) communicate with you about your account, reviews, disputes, and Platform updates; (g) detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service; (h) comply with legal obligations and respond to legal requests.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information with: (a) service providers who assist in operating the Platform (payment processing, email delivery, hosting) under strict confidentiality obligations; (b) law enforcement or government agencies when required by law, subpoena, or court order; (c) other parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets; (d) the public, with respect to review content you voluntarily submit for publication on the Platform.
Reviews, ratings, and client profiles are publicly visible on the Platform. Your business name is displayed alongside your reviews. We do not publicly display your email address, account password, or payment information. Before submitting a review, understand that it will be visible to anyone who visits the Platform.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. We retain review content indefinitely to maintain the integrity of the Platform's review database, unless a review is removed through our dispute process or for Terms violations. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal account information within 30 days, but reviews you submitted may remain on the Platform in an anonymized form.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, and secure server infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: (a) access the personal information we hold about you; (b) request correction of inaccurate information; (c) request deletion of your personal information; (d) opt out of certain data processing activities; (e) request a portable copy of your data. PuntList is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on the Platform with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
